A Definitely UNthrifty Day (With a Surprise Ending)

Every so often you have to throw caution to the winds and buy something completely outrageous. I NEVER buy shoes anymore unless they're flip-flops from Walmart (or if I'm feeling flush, Target), but when I was in Covington, LA the other day, these spoke to me like Jimmy Choo and Christian Laboutin used to speak to Carrie Bradshaw. These are definitely go-out-to-dinner-at-a-really-nice-place shoes.
The colored spots are the light reflecting off the crystal sequins--everything is white, silver or crystal. I think they look like fairy shoes! The designer is Olivia Rose Tal, New York. Never heard of her, but then, no one in New York has heard of me, either (oh wait, Jonathan just moved there. Ah ha!)What do you think, Hubby?

APRIL FOOL!
Oh wait, it's June. OK, JUNE FOOL!
I bought them at Habitat for Humanity's Resale Store for $35!!! Brand new, in the box. Now we can go out for dinner for real (maybe Annadele's?) with all the money we saved! Hubby hates it when I irrationally rationalize like that, like when I bought a bunch of clothes at 50% off but still spent too much money but of course I was looking at what it WOULD have cost. Feminine logic, at its best.
